Practical loft storage, planned around your home
We help homeowners make better use of unused loft space with raised loft boarding, loft ladders, hatches, insulation and access improvements. From the first survey to the finished installation, the work is planned around the loft you actually have and the storage you genuinely need.

Every loft is different. We look at the hatch, joists, insulation, roof shape, services and the area you want to use before recommending the work. A smaller raised platform may be enough for one home, while another may benefit from improved access, lighting or insulation at the same time.
We explain the options before anything is agreed, and the written quotation sets out the work you have chosen so there is a clear scope from the start.
You can book one improvement or combine several as part of the same project. We will explain what is useful for your loft and what can remain as it is. Lining, roof windows and safety rails can also be discussed where appropriate.
A level storage floor supported above the insulation, with its height and layout chosen to suit your loft.
Aluminium, timber and compact options, selected to suit the ceiling height and the space below the hatch.
Replace an awkward hatch or assess whether a larger opening would make access easier.
See where you are stepping and find what you need without holding a torch.
Check the existing insulation and discuss any top-up before the boarding goes in.
Consider airflow and any signs of damp before deciding how the loft should be boarded.
A boarded loft is only useful if you can get into it comfortably and move boxes through the opening. We check the available space below the hatch, the ladder reach and the route onto the boarded area before recommending changes.
If your existing ladder and hatch are suitable, they can stay. If an upgrade would make the space easier to use, we explain the options separately so you can choose what is worthwhile.
We keep the process straightforward, with the work agreed before installation and a clear quotation for the improvements you choose.
